On Friday, the winners of the Bloggers’ Quilt Festival were announced and yes, my name was right up there at the top!
Not for Hand Quilting, or as a Wall Hanging, and not even for the most beautiful photography, taken my our daughter Amanda.
But instead, my original quilt, Out of This World was given the Viewer’s Choice award!!
How about that?! I could not have been more flabbergasted!
All of the quilts were just amazing and offer so much inspiration and challenge for upcoming projects. Seriously. So many fabulous quilts….

Yay, I’m so happy 🙂 That was the most fun photo shoot we’ve done so far, on location too! And the basement has really never looked better, it’s always felt sort of empty until now.
